Here in North Carolina we have some wild temperature swings, from 15 degrees in January to 90 degrees in May, these swings can be very hard on sweet peas. We have trialed many varieties of sweet peas over the years and have whittled them down to a select few that do really well in this climate. Of course, if your climate is more forgiving, they will thrive there as well. We have been growing and harvesting these select varieties for at least the past 5 years so they are well-tested. We use our sweet peas as cut flowers so vigor and productivity is inherent in these varieties. Equally important to us is smell, so you will find all of these have a beautiful fragrance.
